This paper analyses the draft Constitution of the Earth proposed by the Italian jurist Luigi Ferrajoli and highlights its philosophical and political implications. The author examines with special attention the notion of «system crimes» and refutes the argument that calls the objective of extending the constitutional paradigm beyond the borders utopian of the state. The study concludes by stating that the survival of human requires attention. It is argued that the survival of human life requires attention to normative rational dimensions.
