A study of parliamentary inviolability as a refractory space for the action of justice and as a necessary factor for the right performance of democratic systems. An analysis also of its limits, since parliamentary inviolability requires to be properly understood. Finally, a proposal for parliamentary inmunity as a defense of parliamentary minorities and their freedom of speech. All this through the study of the judgements of the European Court of Human Rights, in an attempt to systematize its extensive case-law in this regard.
