Abstract

At the time of this writing (January 2021), the Organic Law Proposal on the Regulation of Euthanasia, passed by the Congress of Deputies on 17th December 2020, is pending before the Senate for its final approval. The aim of this paper is not to study in depth the content of the aforementioned proposal but analyze to what extent regulating the euthanasia as a concrete development of fun-damental rights to life and physical and moral integrity, provided for in article 15 of the Spanish Constitution, is justified.
