Abstract

In this work, the author analyses the sense of the clause: “beyond all reasonable doubt”, sentence that expresses the “rule of judgement” that is required by “presumption of innocence”.
The reasonableness of a doubt can be shown with examples better than concepts.
“Beyond all reasonable doubt” is every proposition that we, the men, in ordinary life, call a true sentence; and, so, presumption of innocence is a guarantee, not only of justice, but also of truth, the truth of guilt.
The author tells that “beyond all reasonable doubt”, is also a test of legality if, as usually it is accepted, is also applicable to solve the doubts about law
