LA UNIÓN EUROPEA Y EL BIENESTAR ANIMAL: ANÁLISIS ACTUALIZADO DE SUS NORMAS

Abstract

Animal well-being is of concern to European society. This is reflected in a large number of Community Acts. Said corpus iuris has its highs and lows. Following the Action Plan 2006-2010, and its irrefutable contribution to improving the Union’s performance in this area, these are worth examining. With this aim the present article looks at the legal basis of the Acts, their main fundaments and the resources available for promoting them and ensuring their observance.
