Abstract

This paper examines the concept of person and its importance in Criminal Law. Specifically, since the concept person serves mainly to establish boundaries between different visions of human beings, I address the issue of criminal liability of the corporations and the crime of animal maltreatment. With these two examples, I’ll try to show how the concept person affects Criminal law and I’ll make a proposal of understanding of the reality of the human being, far beyond the image of ourselves that person offers.
